Recently, our team was able to combine a medicine delivery and a medical evacuation into one flight operation. The flight left Wewak in the morning and dropped off over 500 lbs. of medicine at the Amboin aid post. After delivering the medicine, they immediately flew to Kambaramba village to pick up Boma, a young man suffering from a compound leg fracture.
The 13-year-old had fallen from a coconut tree a few days before and arrived at the Samban clinic the same morning of the flight. His leg was examined and stabilized until he could be transported to Boram Hospital for further treatment. Please be praying for healing for Boma and that, as always, we would have the opportunity to share with him the hope we have in our Savior Jesus Christ!
