Having arrived in Papua New Guinea when she was just seven years old, McKenna Cooke has lived on the mission field for over ten years. While serving in the highlands of PNG the Cookes met the Palm family, were introduced to Samaritan Aviation, and began serving in Wewak. Serving alongside her family, McKenna eagerly took every opportunity to be involved in life flights, medicine deliveries, medical outreaches, and hospital ministry. It was through Samaritan Aviation that she found her love of aviation and was convinced to pursue a career in it! After witnessing a mother and her unborn child die from complications in labor, which could have been treated had she had access to medical care, McKenna was convinced that God wanted to use her passion for aviation to bring the hope of the gospel and access to medical care to remote areas of the world.
