Rebekah was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California. Her participation in several mission trips with her church as a child created a passion for overseas missions she has carried throughout her life. In her early teens, she fell in love with airplanes and all things related to air travel. Her interest in aviation led her to completion of her professional pilot ratings and a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace from Middle Tennessee State University. While living in Tennessee, she met her husband, Steve, who is an F/A-18F weapons systems officer in the U.S. Navy. They have been married since 2011 and had their first child, Tommy, in 2020. Rebekah is now a San Francisco-based first officer on the Airbus 320 for United Airlines. Rebekah remains passionate about the application of aviation, one of the greatest tools for spreading God’s love.
