While all of our staff are experts in their respective fields, their reason for joining Samaritan is to be servants first. We are called to serve those in Papua New Guinea through emergency life flights, medicine and vaccine delivery, community development, trauma healing training, village vaccine outreaches, and our hospital ministry.

Our ability to save and strengthen the lives in these communities at no charge allows us to serve those who are in the most need.

Pilot

About this position

Do you want to apply your aviation skill as a pilot while saving lives and sharing a message of hope through Jesus?

 

Our pilots are an integral part of Samaritan Aviation.

They work directly with national nurses, health leaders, and other NGOs. Our pilots conduct Life Flights, Medical Supply Flights and Disaster Relief Flights along the Sepik River in the East Sepik Province.

They work directly with remote villages and village leaders engaging in vaccination outreaches, trauma healing training and assisting medical teams. They are also active in our hospital ministry. All of our staff are passionate to share the message of hope through Jesus Christ to the people of Papua New Guinea.

 

A&P certification is preferred, but not required.

 

*Samaritan Aviation exclusively flies Cessna 206s on amphib floats.

Medical Coordinator

About this position

A & P Mechanic

About this position

Do you feel called to apply your aviation skill as an aviation mechanic to show the love of Jesus?

Our mechanics are an integral part of Samaritan Aviation. Along with their responsibilities of performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on our aircraft keeping them available for dispatch they are also required to perform the following duties as well.

They work directly with other members of the Samaritan Aviation staff that include missionaries and paid Papua New Guinea employees and volunteers.  Participating and leading Bible studies and discipleship training with hangar staff will be another opportunity as well. Our mechanics on occasion will participate in assisting with Life Flights, Medical Supply Flights and Disaster Relief Flights along the Sepik River in the East Sepik Province.

They will also be assigned to participate in vaccination outreaches in remote villages, trauma healing training and assisting medical teams. They are also active in our hospital ministry.
